Toddlers aged 2 to 4 have a great time at the Brassertjes, thanks in part to our active pedagogical professionals, whose enthusiasm is contagious. In the completely refurbished St Joan primary school, we have a bright and cosy room with an adjoining outdoor playground. Moreover, our care meets all the quality requirements for childcare. As a result, all the ingredients are present for an instructive and pleasant stay.
Develop
Children love to develop through play and learn from play, from situations and from each other. In many ways, we promote the development of language, creativity, motor skills and social emotional skills, among others.
Language development
Preschool Brassertjes offers a very 'linguistic' environment. Together, we look at picture books and read from them. In addition, we have all kinds of activities in which language plays an important role, focusing on increasing vocabulary. We are curious and ask lots of questions. Using the 'Gordon method', the children build equal and enjoyable relationships.
Pedagogical professionals
Our pedagogical professionals have been working in preschool for a long time. They greatly value a personal approach and pay close attention to the children's well-being.
Gradual preparation
Opting for toddler care means opting for a good and gradual preparation for primary school. We achieve this partly by letting children develop through play. In addition, we let them get acquainted with school step by step, e.g. through joint activities.
