SKOzoK childcare, of which Horizon Childcare was part, merged into Atalenta childcare and primary education on 1 January 2024. By joining forces, we can offer a great range of education, childcare, culture, sports and support. This contributes to the development opportunities of all children (0-13 years).

Horizon Childcare (from now on Atalenta) is a trusted name for childcare and after-school care in Valkenswaard and the surrounding area. And peace and trust is exactly what we offer the children and what is the common thread at all our locations.
No two children are the same
No two children or families are the same. We offer small-scale childcare where we work in both horizontal and vertical groups to allow babies and toddlers to learn from each other as much as possible. Or small-scale childcare where there is intensive cooperation with school so that children from baby to adolescent have one trusted place where they can grow and develop. But also parents who prefer a natural, green environment where their youngest(s) can wonder and discover among the animals and using natural materials come into their own at Horizon (from now on Atalenta).

Our experienced and knowledgeable staff see, help and encourage children. To learn to crawl or walk; to make friends; to discover their creative side; to trust themselves; to discover what they like or dislike. Our days deliberately have a fixed structure; groups have the same faces as much as possible. This is how we offer children peace and confidence within our childcare facilities, because a child can only really develop properly when it 'feels good in its skin'.
